Obverse description Left-facing diademed and draped bust of Queen Victoria, wearing a small crown atop her coiled hair, with a ribbon and veil falling behind. The effigy is rendered in low relief in the style engraved by Leonard Charles Wyon. The legend VICTORIA is inscribed along the left arc of the coin and QUEEN along the right, separated by the truncation of the bust at the lower field. The coin is bordered by a continuous ring of beads.
