| 表面の説明 | Seated allegorical figure of the French Republic (Marianne), wearing a radiate crown, facing three-quarters left, draped in classical robes and enthroned. She holds a fasces or sceptre in her raised left hand and rests her right arm upon the throne; sheaves of wheat appear to her lower left. The date 1919 is inscribed in the exergue on a raised tablet below the figure. The peripheral legend REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE curves around the upper field, separated from the coin's dentilated border by a beaded inner ring. The engraver's name BARRE appears below the design. |
