| Obverse description | A prominent central motif of five sheaves of grain — comprising wheat and rice stalks with full ears — bound together at the base by a decorative ribbon, rising fanlike to fill the field. The curved legend INDOCHINE FRANÇAISE arcs around the upper periphery, with the date 1945 placed in the lower exergual area beneath the sheaves. The design is rendered in high relief with fine detailing on each grain head and the ribbon's striations, all within a plain inner border and a beaded outer rim. |
