Reverse description The denomination HALF DIME is inscribed in two lines of bold, raised Roman lettering at the center of the field, enclosed within an open wreath composed of oak leaves and grain stalks tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The wreath branches extend upward symmetrically, with acorns and cereal heads visible at the tips, rendered in fine relief consistent with proof-quality die work. A beaded border encircles the entire design, and the smooth field surrounding the legend exhibits the mirror-like finish typical of pattern coinage. No additional legend or mintmark appears on this reverse.
