Reverse description Printed entirely in purple on an uncolored ground, the reverse is composed of an intricate guilloche framework forming the central oval vignette, within which the large numeral '10' is set against fine lathe-work rosette patterns. Corner pieces carry additional '10' numerals, and decorative scrollwork with foliate motifs fills the scalloped border, creating a densely geometric composition with no textual legends.
