| Opis awersu | The obverse features a central round hole encircled by an ornate scrollwork design consisting of two symmetrical foliate flourishes flanking the hole on either side. A Tudor imperial crown surmounts the scrollwork at the top of the field. The circular legend GEORGIVS SEXTVS REX is inscribed along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering, within a beaded border. The denomination TEN CENTS appears in two lines within the lower portion of the scrollwork, below the central hole. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse displays the numeral 10 in the upper field above the central round hole, flanked by two curved tusks or elephant tusk motifs that sweep downward and cross below the hole, forming an elliptical frame. A sprig of olive or laurel branches is rendered at the base, beneath the crossing tusks. The legend EAST AFRICA is inscribed along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering within a beaded border, and the date appears in the lower exergue below the tusk design. |
