| Opis rewersu | The reverse is dominated by the bold numeral '10' prominently displayed in the upper central field, serving as the primary denomination indicator. Beneath the numeral, the Sinhala legend 'සත දහය' (ten cents) is inscribed across the center. Below this, the Tamil legend 'பத்து சதம்' and the English inscription 'TEN CENTS' appear on successive lines. The date 1971 is placed in the lower exergue, and the Sinhala word 'ලංකා' (Lanka) appears along the upper border, all enclosed within an ornamental beaded inner border following the scalloped coin shape. |
