Reverse description The denomination numeral 10 dominates the central field in large, bold figures, flanked by the word TRIAL to the left. Above the numeral, the Sinhala legend ලංකා (Lanka) is inscribed, while below appears the Sinhala සත දහය (ten cents) and the Tamil பத்து சதம் (ten cents), followed by the Latin legend TEN CENTS. The date 1965 is positioned along the lower rim. The reverse is framed by the characteristic eight-lobed scalloped border with a beaded inner border running around the full circumference.
