Obverse description Right-facing draped bust effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, modelled after Arnold Machin's portrait of the Queen at approximately 37 years of age, wearing a jewelled tiara. The legend ELIZABETH II is inscribed along the left arc of the border, while D·G·REGINA runs along the right arc. The truncation of the bust is visible at the lower field, and the portrait is surrounded by a fine beaded border.

The design is enclosed by a beaded border.
