Reverse description Central depiction of the Bluenose, the celebrated Nova Scotian racing schooner, shown under full sail on open water, rendered in fine relief. The inscription CANADA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 10 CENTS is positioned along the lower periphery. The date appears to the left of the vessel within the field, and a mintmark or die identifier letter H may appear to the right. The design, originally engraved by Emanuel Hahn, has been a hallmark of the Canadian dime since 1937 and serves as an enduring symbol of Maritime heritage.
