| 背面描述 | Central depiction of the Bluenose, the celebrated Canadian two-masted racing schooner, shown under full sail and proceeding to the left across a stylized waterline. The vessel's rigging and sails are rendered in fine detail, capturing the schooner's iconic silhouette. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper rim, the date 2024 appears to the right of the vessel in the field, and the denomination 10 CENTS is inscribed in the lower exergue. A beaded border runs along the inner rim, and the Heaton mint mark H is visible at lower left of the design. |

Canada's ten-cent piece has carried the same Bluenose schooner reverse since 1937, making it one of the longest-unchanged circulation designs in Commonwealth coinage. Specimen striking at the Royal Canadian Mint involves multiple polished die passes and hand-selected planchets, distinguishing these pieces sharply from the business strikes entering circulation through chartered banks.
The 2024 date marks only the second year of Charles III obverse coinage in Canada, following the transition after Elizabeth II's death in September 2022.
