Popis líce	The arms of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas are centrally displayed, featuring a quartered shield depicting a British ship under full sail above rising sun rays, supported on the dexter by a marlin and on the sinister by a flamingo standing on rocky ground, with a helmet and crest above bearing a conch shell surmounted by a hand holding a branch. Below the shield, a scrolled ribbon bears the national motto in three parts. The legend COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS curves along the upper periphery within a beaded border, and the date appears in the lower field.

Popis rubu	Two bonefish (Albula vulpes) are depicted swimming in opposing directions across the central field, surrounded by stylised aquatic vegetation rendered in fine relief. The fish are portrayed with naturalistic anatomical detail, their scales and fins finely engraved. The denomination TEN CENTS is inscribed along the lower arc of the coin in bold raised letters, with additional sprigs of seaweed filling the lower field. The entire design is contained within a beaded inner border following the scalloped outline of the flan.
