Popis líce	The arms of Sarawak appear at upper left within an ornate frame, alongside Jawi script inscription at top center. A portrait vignette of C. Vyner Brooke, the third Rajah of Sarawak, is positioned at right within an elaborate guilloche border. The denomination TEN CENTS is rendered in bold letterpress at center, with Chinese character 壹角 and date 1st August 1940 below, accompanied by the Treasurer of Sarawak signature.

Popis rubu	The reverse is entirely unprinted, presenting a plain paper surface. The watermark device — an SDM monogram combined with a map of Malaya — is visible when the note is held to light.
