| Opis rewersu | A rampant lion facing left dominates the central field, its right forepaw resting upon a quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of Spain — castles, lions, the Aragonese pale, and the pomegranate of Granada — as used during the Provisional Government period. The design is framed by a beaded inner circle. The upper legend CIEN PIEZAS EN KILOG· arcs around the top, indicating the metric weight standard of one hundred pieces per kilogram, while the denomination DIEZ CENTIMOS curves along the lower arc. Small six-pointed stars flank the shield at either side, and the mint mark OM (Oeschger, Mesdach & Co.) appears in the exergue beneath the lion. |
