10 Céntimos Plana de Riucorp

Plana de Riucorp is a small municipality in the comarca of Conca de Barberà, Tarragona. Like hundreds of Catalan and Spanish towns, it issued its own fractional emergency currency during the Civil War after the Republican government's decree of 1936–37 effectively legitimized local scrip to address the acute shortage of small change — metallic coin had vanished almost entirely from circulation within weeks of the July 1936 uprising.

Turró catalogues only this single emission for the municipality, suggesting the issue was limited in scope and likely short-lived. Small-town Catalan scrip of this type survives erratically; print runs were modest and record-keeping was improvised at best.
