Sindicato Único de Moncada was one of hundreds of anarcho-syndicalist trade union bodies that issued emergency fractional currency during the early months of the Spanish Civil War, when Republican-zone small change effectively vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or simply overwhelmed by the economic dislocation of 1936–37. The C.N.T. affiliation is the key detail: these were not municipal issues sanctioned by the Generalitat but union-printed scrip, carrying the authority of the labour collective rather than any government.

Turró catalogues it under PV965, grouping it among the Valencia province emergency emissions. The Gari reference remains the more specific cite for Moncada issues specifically.
