| 备注 |
Guimerà is a village in the Conca de Barberà comarca of Catalonia with a population that barely reached a few hundred during the Civil War years. Like scores of other Catalan municipalities in 1937, the local council issued its own emergency fractional currency — sèrie de guerra notes — to address the acute shortage of small coinage after the Republican government's reserves were diverted and hoarding stripped coins from daily commerce. Imprenta A. Figueres in Tàrrega printed for several of these tiny municipal issuers across the Urgell region, which is why the physical production quality is broadly consistent across otherwise unrelated localities.
At 43 × 36 mm, this is among the smallest pieces in the Catalan municipal series. Turró catalogues it as #1222.
