| Obverse description | Printed entirely in red on plain paper, the obverse is framed by a rectangular guilloche border of repeating geometric motifs. The heading "Ayuntamiento de Cieza" appears in large serif type at the top, below which "Pagará al Portador" is set in smaller lettering; to the left a circular vignette encloses the numeral "10" over the word "céntimos", while to the right a boxed cartouche reads "EMISIÓN 1937".
