Obverse description Laureate and bearded effigy of Carlist pretender Carlos VII facing right, with ribbon ties at the nape of the neck, set within a beaded inner circle. The circumferential legend reads CARLOS VII P.L.GRACIA DE DIOS REY DE LAS ESPAÑAS, separated by a small fleur-de-lis ornament at the base. The mint mark OT appears in the lower field beneath the truncation.
