| Obverse description | Printed entirely in red on plain paper stock, the obverse is framed by a continuous border of small concentric squares in letterpress. A central oval vignette contains a faint allegorical scene as underprint, over which the large denomination numeral '10' and the legend 'CENTIMS' appear in bold type, separated from the issuer name 'Consell Municipal d'Avinyó' below by a pair of horizontal rules. A small five-pointed star appears to the right, and the facsimile signatures of the mayor (L'Alcalde, A. CARETA) and the finance councillor (El Conseller de Finances, J. AGRAMUNT) are printed in the lower portion. A circular official pink validation stamp of the Consell Municipal is applied over the note. |
