Obverse description Central device depicting a stylized Khmer mythological bird (believed to be a hamsa or sacred goose), rendered in traditional Cambodian decorative relief with intricate feather detailing. The bird stands in profile facing left, its tail feathers elaborately rendered in classical Khmer artistic style. A circular legend in Khmer script surrounds the central device, running along the inner border. The rim is defined by a rope-twist or cable border. The overall design reflects the ornamental aesthetic of the early Cambodian royal coinage series.
