| Reverse description | Central round hole flanked by two symmetrical sprigs — an olive branch to the left and a laurel or grain sprig to the right — framing the hole and the date 1919 below it. The denomination 10 CENTIMES appears in bold raised Latin lettering to the upper right of the hole, with the numeral 10 prominently displayed to the upper left. The country name TUNISIE arcs along the upper rim, and PROTECTORAT FRANÇAIS curves along the lower rim, all within a fine beaded border. The overall design is executed in a clean, legible Art Nouveau-influenced style characteristic of Patey's work for the Monnaie de Paris. |
