Obverse description Uniface obverse essai struck in silvered bronze, featuring a central circular hole pierced through the planchet. Flanking the hole, the monogram 'RF' (République Française) is rendered in bold relief, with the letters positioned on either side of the perforation. The monogram is encircled by a wreath of oak and laurel branches tied at the base, forming an elegant decorative border. A small pellet or bead appears above the hole at the top of the design. The entire composition reflects Lindauer's refined Art Nouveau-influenced style, characteristic of his designs for the Third Republic.
