正面描述	Printed in red on white paper, the obverse carries a central vignette of a panoramic city view with a bridge and river, flanked on the left by a seated allegorical female figure and on the right by a standing figure on a pedestal. The issuer's name 'GEMEENTE DUFFEL' arches across the top, with the denomination 'TIEN CENTIMEN' in bold letterpress at centre, the date '22.NOV.1917' at top, and the denomination numeral '10' repeated in each corner. Signature lines for the municipal secretary (G. Minguet) and the mayor (Ger. Poortman) appear at lower centre, with a serial number at bottom.
