| Reverse description | The field is filled with an elaborate naturalistic arrangement of Burgundian vine branches bearing clusters of grapes, vine leaves, and a central sunflower, all executed in the Art Nouveau manner characteristic of Yencesse's work. A circular Latin legend reads 'GENEROSI · BVRGVNDIAE · FRVCTYS · VIRIOVE ·' (the fruits and vigour of generous Burgundy), separated by dotted borders running inside the toothed rim. The engraver's signature 'O. YENCESSE' appears discreetly within the inner dotted border. The overall composition celebrates the viticultural wealth of the Burgundy region. |
