The denomination '10 CENTIMES' appears prominently in the upper field, with 'TUNISIE' arcing above along the dentilated rim. The legend 'PROTECTORAT FRANÇAIS' curves around the lower periphery. The date '1931' is inscribed at the base between the sprigs, with the word 'ESSAI' incused below it, identifying this piece as a pattern strike.
