Obverse description Aniconic design centred on a round central perforation, around which Arabic legends are arranged in a flowing, decorative script filling the entire field. The upper arc bears the name and title of the Bey, reading 'Ahmad Muddat Bey of Tunisia', while the lower arc carries the denomination '10 Centimes' and the Hijri year 1350. The legends are rendered in an ornate, interlaced style with small lozenge-shaped ornaments serving as punctuation. The coin is bordered by a continuous beaded inner rim and a dentilated outer rim.
