The upper field bears the name and title of the Bey, Ahmad, regent of Tunis, while the lower field carries the Hijri date 1357. The denomination 10 centimes appears to the right of the central hole, and the word 'santim' to the lower left. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded outer border. |
