| Obverse description | Central field bears the municipal coat of arms of La Capelle, depicting a quartered shield surmounted by a mural crown, rendered in relief against a plain field. A circular legend in abbreviated Latin script reads UNION COMMLE ET INDLLE DU CTON DE LA CAPELLE around the periphery, following the contour of the scalloped flan. The date 1921 appears in the lower field beneath the shield. The design is simple and functional, consistent with the emergency coinage typology of the early twentieth century. |
