The date '1918' heads the central panel, beneath which a ribbon cartouche reads 'TIEN CENTIEMEN'; below this, the municipal coat of arms — a robed standing figure holding a crozier within a heraldic shield — is set between the words 'GEMEENTE' and 'WETTEREN'.
