| Obverse description | Left-facing effigy of the Republic personified as Ceres, goddess of the harvest, wearing a pearl necklace and an elaborate composite crown of wheat ears, flowers, olive branches with olives, and oak with acorns, tied by a ribbon descending onto the neck and passing across the forehead where the partial inscription CONCOR appears. The engraver's name OUDINÉ is incised along the lower neck truncation. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the neoclassical style, with the legend encircling the obverse field. |
