| Description de l’avers | The Dominican Republic coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing a cross, an open Bible, and flanking trophies of arms, supported by laurel and palm branches. The circular legend DIEZ CENTESIMOS DE FRANCO arcs around the upper portion of the coin, reading from lower left to lower right. The mint mark A, for the Monnaie de Paris, appears discreetly below the numeral within the wreath. The design is contained within a beaded border consistent with the obverse. |
