The shield is further adorned with crossed cannons, flags, and branches of laurel and palm. A row of nine five-pointed stars arcs along the lower border of the coin. The curved legend REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA runs along the left and right periphery, with a fine beaded border encircling the entire design. |
