Obverse description The Bolivian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting the oval cartouche with the Cerro Rico mountain, the sun rising above it, an alpaca, and the breadfruit tree, surrounded by six Bolivian flags and two crossed cannons with cannonballs at the base. The arms are encircled by a wreath of laurel and olive branches. A circular legend bearing the country name runs along the periphery, with a small star flanked by dashes positioned at the base of the legend.
