| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of Benito Juárez occupying the central field, with the date 1915 inscribed below flanked by two small stars. The circular legend ESTADO L. Y S. DE OAXACA runs along the periphery, rendered in raised Latin letters. The portrait is rendered in a somewhat crude, low-relief style consistent with the provisional emergency coinage of the period. |
