| Reverse description | Printed in dark green on white paper, the reverse is dominated by a large oval vignette of Praia da Rocha, the celebrated beach resort near Portimão, rendered in fine line engraving with dramatic rock formations in the foreground, a sandy cove with bathers, and clifftop buildings visible in the background. The inscription PRAIA DA ROCHA arches across the upper portion of the oval in an Art Nouveau typeface, beneath the header panel CAMARA MUNICIPAL DE PORTIMÃO. The lower margin carries a faint letterpress imprint reading PORTIMÃO, and the corners repeat the same decorative scroll ornaments found on the obverse. |
