| Obverse description | The obverse features the national coat of arms of Honduras prominently centered in the field, depicting an oval shield enclosing a volcanic landscape with a radiating sun above mountains and an ocean, flanked by a quiver of arrows, pine trees, and a broadleaf tree, surmounted by a Cornucopia and a quiver between two towers. The arms are supported by an ornate scroll cartouche bearing the motto of the republic. The curved legend REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS arcs along the upper periphery, while the date appears in the lower exergual area. A fine beaded border runs along the entire rim, framing the composition. |
