| 备注 |
Municipal emergency currency issued during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. When the Japanese Military Administration's peso notes flooded the archipelago in 1942, many municipalities and provinces responded by issuing their own emergency scrip to keep local commerce functioning — Salcedo, a municipality in Eastern Samar, was among them. These issues carried no backing beyond local authority and community trust.
Provincial and municipal Philippine guerrilla-period notes from 1942–45 were produced under improvised conditions, and Salcedo's issues are among the less-documented in the series. An unassigned Pick number reflects how incomplete the cataloguing remains for small-municipality wartime scrip.
