| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in light brown on plain paper with a plain rectangular guilloche-style ruled border enclosing the entire design. The denomination 10 appears in numerals at the upper corners, with the word CENTAVOS printed vertically along each lateral margin. The central field carries the text TEN in large letters, below which COMMONWEALTH OF THE PHILIPPINES and CENTAVOS appear in bold letterpress type. The lower portion repeats the denomination as 10¢ at each corner flanking the legend EMERGENCY CIRCULATING NOTE OF 1942. |
