备注	Banco da Beira was a short-lived regional issuer operating out of Beira, Portuguese Mozambique — not a central bank but a private commercial institution granted limited note-issuing authority. The 10 Centavos sits at the very bottom of its fractional emergency series, issued in 1919 when small-change shortages across Portuguese colonial Africa had become genuinely disruptive to everyday trade. Bradbury Wilkinson handled the printing in London, as they did for numerous colonial and semi-official issuers of the period who needed credible security printing on short notice. The R-prefix in the Pick catalogue signals its regional and provisional character. Few examples survived in quantity.
