Beschrijving voorzijde	Black intaglio print on white paper with red serial numbers. A central vignette presents a portrait of a young girl in three-quarter view, set within an ornate lathe-work oval frame flanked by the numeral '10' on each side. The bank name 'EL BANCO NACIONAL DEL PERU' arcs across the upper portion in bold letterpress, while the denomination 'DIEZ CENTAVOS' appears in a decorative ribbon below the vignette. The date 'Lima, Enero 1o de 1873' and two manuscript signatures of the Gerente (manager) are inscribed at the lower centre, with the printer's imprint 'American Bank Note Co. New York' along the bottom margin.
