Beschrijving voorzijde	Black on white paper. The upper portion carries the bank title in large bold lettering with the promise-to-pay legend in smaller script across the middle band. To the left, a circular vignette contains the Colombian national coat of arms with an eagle above the shield. The denomination numeral '10' appears in an ornate cartouche at upper right, with the issuance place 'BOGOTA' and date '5 de Agosto de 1885' inscribed centrally. Two manuscript signatures appear below, with a printed serial number in red at lower right. The lower margin bears the printer's imprint.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Printed in green, the reverse is dominated by an intricate guilloche lattice pattern forming a large central oval framed by geometric and floral ornamental devices at each corner. The denomination 'UN REAL' is printed vertically in bold letters on both the left and right margins. A manuscript signature and the legend 'CAJERO' appear within the central field, along with a circular red control stamp. The printer's imprint runs along the lower margin.
