Reverse description The denomination 'DIEZ CENTAVOS' is inscribed in two lines across the centre of the field, with the date below, all enclosed within a wreath of laurel branches tied at the base. The Santiago mint mark 'S' with an overline appears at the top of the field above the wreath opening. A curved hammer-and-sickle device is visible at the lower centre of the wreath interior, representing Chilean labour symbolism. The entire design is contained within a beaded border.
