Additional information

Ghana's lunar series coinages were produced under license arrangements common to many smaller central banks in the 2000s, with the actual minting contracted out — almost certainly to a European or South African facility rather than struck domestically. The Bank of Ghana has no mint of its own.

The Year of the Dog falls in the 2006 cycle, which in the Chinese calendar ran from January 29, 2006 to February 17, 2007.
