| Obverse description | Central field features four large Chinese ideograms arranged in a cruciform reading pattern, flanked by floral ornaments at the centre. A horizontal inscription in Chinese characters appears above and below the central group, while Manchu script characters occupy the left and right fields respectively. The entire design is set within a plain inner border, with the provincial and reign-period inscriptions together identifying the issuing mint and the Guangxu Emperor. |

| Reverse description | Central device depicts a sinuous Imperial dragon in high relief, shown in three-quarter view with scaled body coiled above stylised waves, its head facing forward with prominent horns and whiskers, and claws extended. A flaming pearl appears above the dragon's head at the centre. The dragon is encircled by a beaded inner border, and a Latin legend reading '· KIRIN ·' at the top and '· 10 · CASHES ·' at the bottom runs along the periphery within a toothed outer rim. |
