| Popis rubu | The reverse displays a trilingual mint and denomination inscription arranged around the central square hole in the standard Qing frontier-mint format. Two Chinese characters (當十, meaning 'worth ten') are placed above and below the square hole respectively, while the Manchu script name for the Aksu mint (ᠠᡴᠰᡠ) appears to the left and the Old Uyghur script rendering of Aqsu (اقسو) appears to the right. This trilingual arrangement — Chinese, Manchu, and Uyghur — is characteristic of coinage struck at the Aksu mint in southern Xinjiang during the Xianfeng reign. The plain, unadorned field and raised outer rim are consistent with cast Qing provincial issues of the period. |
