Reverse description Two rectangular striped flags crossed diagonally at center, their staffs intersecting in the middle of the field, representing the early Republican-era Chinese national flags. Floral and foliate ornaments fill the spaces between the flag panels and along the upper and lower periphery. An Arabic-script legend curves above the crossed flags in the upper portion of the field, while a second Arabic-script inscription occupies the lower segment, separated from the flags by additional floral decoration. The overall design is robust and deeply struck, typical of Kashgar mint copper issues of this period.
