| Reverse description | The reverse presents a bilingual legend arranged around the central square hole in the traditional Qing cash format. A single Chinese character 當 (Dāng, meaning 'worth') appears above the hole and 十 (Shí, meaning 'ten') below it, indicating the denomination of ten cash. To the left and right of the hole, two vertical Manchu script words read 'Boo-i' (ᠪᠣᠣ ᡳ), the Manchu rendering of the mint name. The characters and Manchu script are cast in bold raised relief within a plain field, bounded by well-defined inner and outer rims. |
