| Obverse description | Central field bears four large Chinese characters reading 中華民國 (Republic of China) arranged in a cruciform pattern within a beaded inner circle. Surrounding the inner circle, the outer legend reads 新疆喀造 (Made in Kashgar, Sinkiang) across the top, with the cyclical date characters (辰戊 or 巳己) flanking the sides, and the denomination inscription 當紅錢十文 (Each piece worth 10 Cash) along the lower arc. All inscriptions are rendered in bold relief Chinese characters in a plain field without additional decorative devices. |

The outlined rays are rendered with clean incuse inner lines forming the triangular points. No additional legend or decorative elements appear in the outer field. |
