| Obverse description | Cast copper cash coin centered on a square perforation with raised rims on both inner and outer edges. The four-character reign legend 乾隆通寶 (Qianlong Tongbao) is disposed in the traditional cruciform arrangement in regular script (kaishu), reading top-to-bottom and right-to-left: 乾 (top), 隆 (bottom), 通 (right), 寶 (left). The characters are rendered in bold, slightly worn relief against a flat field. The coin exhibits an overall green-brown patina consistent with burial or long circulation. |
